AllPoints Fibre Networks (APFN) and Daisy Communications have entered a long-term strategic partnership to enhance national full fibre services through APFN’s wholesale platform, aquila.
Under this agreement, Daisy Communications will gain access to aquila, enabling it to tap into a nationwide, full-fibre-only network instantly. This will give Daisy the opportunity to provide high-speed connectivity to millions of premises across the UK via a single API-first platform, streamlining operations and expanding its service reach.
As part of the partnership, Daisy Communications will also acquire APFN’s B2B direct customer base, which was previously managed under the Giganet brand. Both APFN and Daisy have assured that all customers transitioning to Daisy will maintain their existing service levels and in-contract pricing, ensuring a smooth migration process.
Jarlath Finnegan, Group CEO of AllPoints Fibre Networks, expressed enthusiasm about the deal: “The Daisy deal represents another big milestone for APFN. Daisy now has access to the largest full fibre wholesale offering in the UK, which will benefit the loyal customers who have supported us to date. I want to thank them, and we look forward to supporting them via Daisy in the years ahead.”
Dave McGinn, CEO of Daisy Communications, also shared his excitement: “We’re delighted to have signed a deal with APFN to bring the UK’s largest full fibre wholesale offering to our customers. We’re also pleased to welcome several customers into Daisy as part of our deal and look forward to working alongside them to keep Britain connected.”
The partnership takes effect immediately, and all affected customers have already been informed of the transition.
