Virgin Media O2’s business arm has a new name. O2 Daisy, the entity that emerged from the merger of Virgin Media O2’s Business division and Daisy Group back in August 2025, is now trading as O2 Business, marking a fresh chapter for one of the UK’s more significant players in the business connectivity and communications space.
The company says it’s built around a pretty clear-eyed diagnosis of what’s actually frustrating UK businesses right now which is not a lack of technology, but an overwhelming excess of it. Too many platforms, too many vendors, too many hours lost trying to get systems to talk to each other.
CEO Jo Bertram put it plainly: “Most businesses don’t feel short of tech – they feel buried under it. The pitch from O2 Business is that there’s a better way, one where connectivity and communications sit under one roof and actually work together, rather than pulling in different directions.”
The new brand will roll out gradually rather than all at once. Customers can expect to see it appear across channels in phases, with the company also planning a series of live events across its estate and a roadshow programme in the months ahead.
On the product side, O2 Business customers will have access to a portfolio that brings together Virgin Media O2’s network infrastructure with Daisy’s service and support heritage. That means cloud-based services, Teams Phone Mobile integration and a broader suite of digital-first solutions, with more reportedly in the pipeline.
The idea, in essence, is to give organisations of all sizes from smaller businesses to larger enterprises a single, more manageable environment for their connectivity and communications needs, rather than the usual patchwork of suppliers and contracts.
