Zen Internet has officially launched broadband services on the Trooli FTTP network, expanding its reach to 370,000 homes and businesses across rural and semi-rural areas of England and Scotland.

This rollout comes six months after Zen became the first national provider to sign a wholesale agreement with Trooli, an independent broadband network operator. Trooli’s infrastructure serves underserved regions in the South West, South East, East Anglia, and parts of Scotland.

Customers can now order full fibre broadband via Zen’s consumer sales team, with online orders opening at the end of February. Additionally, Zen will offer Trooli’s network to its channel partners through the ICP (Indirect Channel Portal & API), though a launch date for that is yet to be confirmed.

Zen CEO Richard Tang shared his excitement about the launch, stating: “The Trooli network is now available to buy through Zen Internet! The Trooli and Zen teams have been very busy over the last few months integrating networks and APIs, testing processes, and making sure the onboarding of our new altnet partner is fully robust.”

When the partnership was first announced in August, Trooli CEO Andy Conibere emphasised the shared commitment to expanding broadband access: “We are delighted to be partnering with Zen. Our network is ready for service, so this new partnership allows Zen Internet to expand its customer reach and quickly connect its customers to a high performing network.”

Unlike many alternative networks, Trooli continues to expand into areas that need broadband the most, ensuring fast and reliable internet for communities across the UK.

With this partnership now live, more homes and businesses can benefit from high-speed connectivity through Zen’s trusted service and Trooli’s growing full fibre infrastructure.
